Gravewood high : The prom king

Decades ago, Gravewood made a deal to protect the town from something buried beneath the school. Every few years, a Prom King is chosen to carry the curse, slowly becoming less human as prom night approaches. The crown binds him to the school. Once he’s crowned at midnight, he either dies… or becomes part of Gravewood itself.

On prom night, the current Prom King realizes he’s being groomed to replace whatever entity has been haunting the halls. Blood stains the dance floor, the music never stops, and the teachers help keep the ritual moving “for tradition’s sake.”
